Impact of Sampling Plans

The Microbiological Sampling Plan Analysis Tool provides an opportunity to define one or more sampling plans, and explore the effect these would have on the ultimate microbiological safety of food available in the marketplace. 

Use of the tool involves 3 steps, these steps are:

Step 1: Define a contamination profile of the product
Step 2a: Define a presence/absence sampling plan, or
Step 2b: Define a concentration-based sampling plan
Step 3: Analysis and Reporting: Obtain the results of the current selections, perform sensitivity analysis, find parameter values to meet targets, or select plan/profile combinations for a report.
